Easter Part 4: Let's Celebrate!

It's finally here — Happy Easter, everyone! We've been building up to the big day with our previous Easter-centric episodes, filling you in on all the reasons Easter is so special. Now, it's time to celebrate!

If you're not sure why we're celebrating, let's recap: God sent his son, Jesus, to die as a sacrifice for our sins so that we can be forgiven; three days later, he rose from the dead, proving he was everything he ever said he was; Jesus conquered death and sin forever; Jesus is alive — he is risen!

"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words." — 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
