Ask each child to point to their greeting of choice
Show them some love!
This simple exercise shows children that they matter, that you see them as individuals, and that they are entering a space filled with people who care about who they are and what they need.
This is also a fantastic way to include children who may be nonverbal due to a language barrier or disability.
